The station in Ashdale is huge because of the high crime rate. It has several holding cells and so many desks for the detectives and street cops that it is almost cramped in the large space of the two story building. Several personal offices are set on the second floor with cubicles for the more important detectives. These cops are in a constant battle with the crime lords of Ashdale and so there is always someone on duty. The paint job of the outside of the building is white while the inside is a dark green.

The city park is huge and sprawls across five acres. There is a medium sized duck pond in the center of it with a bridge going over it. The bridge is in the design of ivy leaves climbing up the mahogany colored wood. It matches the gazebo in the far left corner which has the same ivy design and real morning glories climbing up it. The grass is always a bright green and the duck and geese are always there to beg for bread. There are deciduous trees scattered through out the park. Off to the right of the front right corner is a large marble sculpture of a lion.

This breakfast diner is the kind with giant portions of comfort food. The paint job sends a strange vibe, almost like you're back in time, with blue paint and chrome accents. This diner is under the control of the human mafia and they meet here once a week. The diner closes down when they take over, and no serving of food is done. Every server in the diner is nice and welcomes customers with open arms.

The high school is not huge considering Ashdale itself is only a medium sized city. It is the color of burnt orange and full of students and teachers. Its mascot is the wolverine, and the school colors are burnt orange and tan.

This old theatre is the place where actors perform plays, musicals, and musicians and orchestras take up their instruments and play. It also has a cinema.

Zero Gravity is a dance club that allows the youngest customers to be eighteen, but they are not allowed alcoholic drinks. Of course they don't check fake ids very closely so even sixteen year old customers could sneak in. This club plays dance music and some techno, the paint job is a dark, dark blue (almost black) and it has stars of white light on the walls and ceiling. There are black leather couches that line the walls of the dance floor on the first floor and the second floor has glass tables with black chairs. There is a black wood bar that sells everything from soda to whiskey on the second floor.

This is a small cafe with good healthy food. Its atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, with a friendly staff and warm sage green walls and dark wood floors. The air constantly smells of a mix of coffee and chai tea. This is owned by the OTHER SHIFTER MAFIA. They take over the place on Wednesdays and have meetings once a week. There is a bookshelf where you can take a book and read it while drinking coffee and as long as you replace it with another book you can take the book home with you.

These woods are named that for the fact that part of them are still growing back from the fire that swept through the forest a few years ago. There are still obvious blackened and twisted parts of trees, though a lot of new growth is happening. This wood stretches to the Spires. It is large in other words and full of creatures from large to small. Deer are regularly seen here and wolves share this wood with the Shifters. It is a place for the Shifters to get away from the crowds of the city.
